Brand strategy for b10

Baños 10 was a bathroom equipment company that come to us with a specific goal: helping them to seek their brand’s internationalisation. We conceived a complete brand strategy for them to reach that purpose, from developing a strategic renaming to the design of their exhibition stand at Cevisama, awarded by the fair organization and the German Design Awards.

Water reminiscence

Working on their new visual identity we get inspired by water. Thinking about “water” as colour and on the other hand using the freshness and vitality of water. Starting from the basis of the aseptic and classic character of the new b10, the main and only element of the logo was a particular typography that remains between a classic and an ornamental serif that also has organic lines that remind us the movement of the water. The result brings together a minimalist, modern and typographic logo with an indigo blue as the main colour that contrasts with white.

From local to global

Based on that aim of going from local to global, we started with a renaming process for the company where finally the brand “Baños 10” was adapted to a more language-friendly: “b10”. We decided to reduce the brand´s elements to essential obtaining the new 3-character name that makes an easier pronunciation in any language by removing the Spanish “ñ” from the naming.

Factory inspiration for b10

Reflecting the essence of the new identity we developed for b10 its graphic applications as stationary, catalogues and other promotional tools. But we´ll definitely highlight the stand design we created for b10 launch at Cevisama fair 2017.
Baños 10 is currently one of the few bathroom equipment companies that still have their own production chain. That´s why, one of our main goal was to reflect the industrial character of the company in the stand design.

Inspired in the work of the Korean sculptor Do Ho Suh, the stand creates the fiction of a factory. Through a rod module system lately covered with fabric, the exterior walls sketch in the air the facade of an iconic factory.

Baños 10 is currently one of the few bathroom equipment companies that still have their own production chain. That´s why, one of our main goal was to reflect the industrial character of the company in the stand design.

Awarded stand design

The design was recognized by Cevisama’s organization and we received the second award as the best interior design of the fair. After, this stand was also a winner design at the prestigious German Design Award 2018 in the category Fair and Exhibitions.
