Our studio design was in charge to create the new promotional tools for Q, the coating brand for Durstone. We developed a set of folders, displays, catalogues and a set of boxes
The sample folders were designed to provide a promotion tool to Q distributors. We thought in a three corps folder containing product photos, individual full size pieces and a cut of every available colour. We wanted to give a premium look with the finishings, so we used the same rubber lining as for the catalogues (one colour for each collection), and a white stamp mark on it.
In addition we design three brochures, one for each collection, and then put all together in a nice folder to contain them. We got the inspiration from the best furniture catalogues and wanted to show the tiles as individual design objects and give them a vintage and eco friendly look. We used four different materials for this project. Glossy paper for the pictures, Fedrigoni matt paper for the indexes, kraft paper for the covers and a beautiful recycled rubber lining of three different colour, one for each collection.
Finally for their attendance to Saint Gobain 2012 Fair in Marseille, they asked us to design a great display for the exhibition, containing the new products range and giving it a very special shape, different from any other exhibitor seen in the industry.
As a part of our design direction work for Durstone’s brand, Q, we designed openminded boxes for this openminded project. The task this time was to design the packaging proposal for Q wall tiles. And we decided to use the kraft paper as in the catalogue and one ink for each box depending on the product type
The result was a great set of promotional tools capable of perfectly reflecting the new visual identity of Q.
